I have always believed that movement is a natural part of human life and the foundation of well-being – a healthy mind in a healthy body. Extreme sports have been an interest of mine for years, so I have experienced my fair share of injuries, I developed a deep interest in how the human body functions and an understanding of how much proper rehabilitation can support both physical and mental well-being.
I have been involved in sports my entire life – playing volleyball, wakeboarding, snowboarding, surfing, and much more. I have been wakeboarding for nine years and have represented Estonia at the European Championships. For the past five years, I have worked as a wakeboarding and snowboarding coach, which has taught me to recognize how different people’s needs and motivations for movement can be.
For me, physiotherapy is first and foremost collaboration. I value open communication and truly understanding each person – everyone is different and requires an individual approach. My goal is to help people find the type of movement that suits them best and to restore trust in their bodies. When someone leaves feeling better and with a clearer sense of direction, I know my workday has been successful.
