Sport has been a big part of my life from a very young age. I have played tennis for over 15 years and have personally experienced a range of sports-related problems, from elbow overuse and ankle injuries to persistent back pain. These experiences sparked my interest in understanding why injuries and pain develop, how the body responds to physical load, and how recovery can be best supported.
Alongside physiotherapy, I have worked as a tennis and padel coach for over five years. As a coach, I regularly encounter players dealing with issues such as elbow, shoulder, and knee pain. This experience has taught me to look beyond the painful area and consider the person's movement, technique, and training load, while finding ways to help them continue training as safely as possible.
As a physiotherapist, I value open and clear communication and believe it is important that people understand why we are doing something, not simply what we are doing. Together with each patient, I aim to find an approach that helps them return to the activities that matter to them — whether that means everyday movement, the gym, or sport.
